Product Launch: Oris Great Barrier Reef Limited Edition II


The project is a collaboration between Swiss watchmaker Oris and the Australian Marine Conservation Society. The Great Barrier Reef is one of the natural wonders of the world. Stretching some 2,300 km off the coast of Australia, it is the largest structure of living organisms in the world and can be is visible from space. The reef is literally a structure of billions of living organisms existing in a symbiotic relationship. This reef structure is composed of and built by billions of tiny organisms, known as coral polyps. It supports a wide diversity of life and was selected as a World Heritage Site in 1981. Today, it hangs on a balance, and is under thread from widespread, rapid and damaging industrial developments
