The Oris ProDiver Chronograph has been redesigned in cooperation with Oris ambassador and commercial diver Roman Frischknecht.

“I’ve come to rely on the ProDiver and the Rotating Safety System to keep me out of harm’s way,” says Roman. “Knowing the bezel is locked in place during a deep-sea dive is really reassuring. You can’t afford any mistakes when you’re hundreds of meters below the surface.” 

The updated ProDiver Chronograph design is more utilitarian, with angular lugs and a slimmer profile. It’s more practical, too. The screw-down crown and push pieces have deeper grooves for more grip. The same is true of the ridged bezel, which is made of durable, shock-resistant vulcanized black rubber. The bracelet and rubber strap (the watch comes with both) have also been redesigned so that the edges are flatter, and the center links of the bracelet and the central section of the strap are more rounded, giving the watch a simpler but more technical

Technical Specifications:
The case, in titanium, measures 51mm. It has a domed AR-coated sapphire crystal and it is water resistant to 1,000 meters. It features a helium-release valve, a diver’s unidirectional revolving rubber top ring with Oris-patented Rotation Safety System, and a minute scale on a black ceramic inlay. The titanium caseback features an engraved meters-to-feet conversion scale.

Movement is the Swiss automatic Oris caliber 774 (base Sellita SW500) with 25 jewels, 28,800 vph and a power reserve of 40 hours.

The dial is black with wave pattern and applied indices filled with SuperLuminova. Nickel hour and minute hand with SuperLuminova. White chronograph counters.

It comes on a titanium bracelet and a black rubber strap with folding clasp and quick-adjust extension system. The set includes a waterproof case and strap-change tools.
